RECORD was a Swiss clock maker who also built in the 30's a very uncommon compass type. It had been designed and patented by Jakob Leutenegger  in 1933. The two opposite nickel plated steel mirrors, reflect a non inverted view of the compass rose. The compass scale is divided in 6400/1000 . The casing material is steel. The directions are in German.
