A free swinging needle allowing accurate navigation in the southern hemisphere. The needle no longer 'hangs' because of the different magnetic situation in the southern hemisphere - it moves freely. DP 6G has the protective 'drawer' housing, the saphire mounted, liquid stabilised needle, folding mirror with 11 cm sighting line and luminous markings on needle and compass rose. °Degree, %0 and Gon graduations. Declination adjustment (mini-screwdriver incl.) and clinometer.Coversion tables on the reverse of the mirror enable % inclination to be calculated.
