This compass was sold in Batavia, the former capital of the Dutch East Indies, in the 1920's.  The case is bolted to the compass. The compass has a diameter of 10 cm and readings for 360 degrees.

This prismatic compass has a SINGER patent type green paper dial with a folding sighting vane and a folding prism. When the vane is down, the compass dial is blokked.
