Meridian, a former Swiss company who produced this clinometer/compass (model MC 1202),  is now called Spectros A.G. International.

The Clinometer has  2 reading lenses. By holding the gimbal ring in a vertical position,this tool is used for determining the horison and slopes. The compass has a reading prism. The compass shows 360 degrees.
