WILKIE was a former German company, founded in 1954 in Fürth, near Nürnberg. It bought PASTO in 1972 and was acquired in 1976 by ESCHENBACH. The production of the WILKIE compasses was sold to KASPER & RICHTER in 2005.
WILKIE was one of the most important German wholesale compass manufacturers.
A typical characteristic of WILKIE was the stabilisation winglets on either side of the magnetic needleWILKIE proposed also several models of combined instruments depth gauge/compass. Models with 0-80 m and 0-100m scale. This one has a 80 m scale.
