 BARIGO is an anagramme for Barometerfabrik Richard GOES. A German company founded in  1929 with facilities in Schwenningen which produces mainly barometers. 

 Robust transparent acrylic navigating compass in shaped leather case. Oil damped pointer in central 360 degree rotating bezel with 4 cardinal points declination adjustments and map bearing lines. Luminous slight lines and North pointer. Removable protective leather case incorporates a sighting mirror, press-stud closure with viewing aperture, full size luminous sheet for night navigation and is complete with leather lanyard.
